Are you a strategic sales professional with a passion for building long-term client relationships and driving growth across retail channels? A well-established, premium consumer lifestyle brand is looking for a results-oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee a North East Ontario/East Ontario territory including Peterborough, Brockville, Kingston etc. Representing a curated portfolio of best-in-class general merchandise, this role offers the opportunity to sell and partner with top retailers, introduce new products, and execute strategies that elevate brand presence and increase sell-through.

DESCRIPTION

  • Manage and grow a defined territory of retail and distribution partners
  • Develop account plans that maximize revenue, margin, and in-store presence
  • Launch new products and promotional initiatives with retail partners
  • Monitor inventory, performance metrics, and retail execution standards
  • Identify market trends and provide strategic feedback to the national sales team
  • Train in-store teams on product knowledge and brand standards
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and regional retail events

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in general merchandise, consumer goods, or premium retail
  • Proven track record of territory growth, relationship management, and meeting/exceeding targets
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel within the territory (approx. 20%)
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with retail analytics and CRM tools considered an asset
