Company Description Pivotage Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the FMCG sector specializing in essential cooking products (Seasoning cubes, Oil, etc.). The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies within an assigned area. The role involves managing sales teams and distributors, strengthening customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. Job Description Key Responsibilities Develop and implement area sales plans in line with company objectives Achieve volume, value, and distribution targets within the assigned territory Supervise, coach, and motivate Sales Representatives and field sales teams Manage distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards Monitor sales performance and submit regular reports and forecasts Execute trade promotions, product launches, and market activations Track competitor activities and market trends Enforce pricing, credit, and company sales policies Maintain strong relationships with key trade partners Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Minimum of HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of sales in FMCG and at least 5 years in the sale of oil, seasoning cubes. Strong knowledge and experience of the local markets. Compensation: NGN 300000 - NGN 300000 - monthly
