Description
Drive Territory Growth: Proactively identify, recruit, and onboard new Ford and Lincoln dealerships to sell Ford Protect products. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share growth within your assigned territory. Cultivate Dealer Partnerships: Forge and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key dealership personnel, including Dealer Principals, General Managers, and F&I Managers. Act as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all things related to the Extended Service Business. Serve as a Business Consultant: Become a subject matter expert on dealership F&I operations. Provide consultative advice to dealer partners on how to structure their business, improve processes, and increase the penetration of Ford Protect products to maximize their profitability. Deliver Impactful Training: Make professional, persuasive product and sales presentations to dealership staff. Coordinate and deploy training resources to ensure dealership personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively sell our products. Execute Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with regional management and internal Ford Motor Credit teams to implement the regional business plan. Promote the use of available sales tools and platforms to help dealers grow their business. Be the Eyes and Ears of the Market: Identify and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market intelligence. Provide critical feedback to the Sales & Marketing leadership team to ensure our programs and products remain competitive and best-in-class. Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 3+ years of experience in B2B field sales, account management, or business development. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment. Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage a large geographic territory. Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 75%). A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry sales or F&I. Direct experience working for an automotive OEM in a field-based role, interacting with dealerships. Deep understanding of dealership F&I (Finance & Insurance) department operations and profitability drivers. Experience selling intangible products or services (e.g., service contracts, financial products, software). A basic understanding of insurance principles is a strong plus. Proven ability to manage multiple, often conflicting, priorities effectively.
