GROUNDCARE AREA SALES MANAGER

Location: North Walsham, Norfolk (NR28 0TY)
Full-Time | Permanent
42.5 hours/week | Monday to Friday (8am–5:30pm)
Includes company car + commission
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Groundcare Area Sales Manager on behalf of a highly respected client based at their North Walsham branch in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in Groundcare machinery sales or service to join a professional and customer-focused team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong knowledge of Groundcare equipment and the industry
  • Previous experience in a sales, service, or parts role within the sector
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Skilled in influencing, persuading, and closing deals
  • Able to demonstrate equipment to customers as required
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Well-organised with strong administrative skills
Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

As the Area Sales Manager, you’ll report directly to the Branch & Sales Manager and be responsible for selling new and used Groundcare Machinery and associated equipment within a designated territory. This is a field-based role where building strong customer relationships and maximising sales opportunities are key to your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the dealership and its brands within a defined sales territory
  • Achieve and exceed sales performance targets
  • Build and maintain strong, loyal relationships with customers
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
  • Attend customer-focused events and demonstrations
  • Deliver a first-class customer experience from sale to post-delivery
  • Upsell and promote products and services to maximise revenue
  • Prepare and maintain necessary sales documentation and CRM records
