The Role

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales across the East Midlands, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire by managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. Your role will involve:

  • Account management (60%) – Strengthening relationships with key customers, increasing market share, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • New business development (40%) – Proactively identifying and securing new customers, targeting high-margin sales, and exploring new markets.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Acting as a technical advisor to customers, helping them select the best lubricant solutions for their needs.
  • Developing and maintaining an active sales pipeline, ensuring consistent business growth.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with a passion for technical products and a proven track record in B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A successful background in sales, preferably within the automotive aftermarket, fleet, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience in both account management and new business development.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset.
