Description Regional Sales Account Manager We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic account development, drive sales growth, and strengthen relationships across our regional markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute account strategies and territory sales plans to achieve distribution, volume, and revenue objectives. Drive cold availability across the region by meeting and exceeding cooler placement goals. Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Senior RSMs, and distributor teams to ensure account activity is executed, maintained, and optimized. Utilize VIP to analyze sales, distribution, and execution data to inform analytics-based selling decisions, prioritize opportunities, and enhance operational efficiency. Use Repsly to record daily sales activities, track execution, and maintain accurate, current account information. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts and distributor partners to foster growth and loyalty. Manage assigned Direct Store Delivery (DSD) personnel to ensure effective execution and customer service. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role within the consumer goods or retail industry. Strong understanding of sales strategies, distribution channels, and territory management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with clients and partners. Proficiency in using sales analytics tools such as VIP and Repsly or similar platforms. Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region. Requirements Job Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of Sales or Account Management experience in the Beverage, Food, or similar consumer goods industry Proven experience using VIP with a strong focus on efficiency, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision making Demonstrated ability to manage forecasting, including volume planning, distributor ordering accuracy, and inventory alignment Experience planning, executing, and evaluating chain promotions, including promotional compliance and post-promo analysis Strong working knowledge of POG (Planogram) changes and execution, ensuring resets are completed accurately and on time Ability to manage POG execution through distributor teams and retail partners to maintain shelf standards and maximize visibility Ability to travel up to 50% Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ideal Candidate Traits: Results Oriented – Drive for achieving lofty goals Coaching Mentality – Help set direction, provide feedback, and course correct Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to influence at multiple levels in an organization Strategic Thinking – Plan your work, work your plan Organizational Skills – Understand and balance multiple priorities Fast Paced – Thrives on new challenges.
