KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

These will include:

  • Promote and sell the complete range of street lighting, power distribution and IoT products and solutions into the London & Southeast (UK) area.
  • Support the implementation of sales initiatives as part of the medium-term plan across its target sectors including Highways, Street Lighting, Local Authority, Contractors and Commercial (Distribution & Wholesale).
  • Exceed sales revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop new business opportunities and customer relationships to help the business meet growth targets, whilst working alongside other Group companies to expand collaboration opportunities within Group customers.
  • Support the commercial and customer teams in managing price lists, quotes and tenders, whilst feeding back pricing information to ensure correct price positioning, and high sales conversion rates.
  • Drive specification of the Company’s products to key customer specification and stakeholder groups; Local Authorities; Consultants, Contractors, End Users, Lighting OEMs and IoT Service Providers
  • Support Product Management in timely and efficient product launches in line with company and group initiatives
  • Support the Company’s forecasting and budgeting processes and provide timely reports in line with business processes and manager requests.
  • Be the voice and ears of the company ensuring important customer, market and competitor information is fed back into the business.
  • Represent the Company positively at industry events and exhibitions. Involvement within regional industry bodies such as the ILP and HEA will be welcomed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in an electrical manufacturing industry, preferably in a relevant sector e.g. Street Lighting & Highways; Power & Energy; Infrastructure or Net Zero.
  • Technical qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of one or more important customer groups including Local Authorities, Electrical Contracting, Wholesale & Distribution, Consultants and Street Lighting OEMs.
  • Experience working with consultants to secure product specifications.
  • Determined, results-focused salesperson with good negotiation and business development skills.
  • Strong team player with professional work ethic and good interpersonal skills.
  • Good presentation & communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suite and CRM.
  • High level of English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities

The Southeast Sales Manager is responsible for all sales of Lucy Zodion products and services into the region. The sales “owner” is responsible for sales of the complete product suite including street lighting controls, CMS smart lighting, fused products, and power distribution solutions into the Company’s long established customer base in Highways, Street Lighting, Commercial and Infrastructure, as well as developing new business. The role is responsible for ensuring short, medium, and long-term sales and profitability targets are met.
