Area Sales Manager About Rawr Rawr is re-defining the beauty salon experience with expert teams delivering fast, flawless manicures, brows, massages and eyelash extensions. We pride ourselves on originality and consistent standards that leave customers confident and camera-ready. Role overview We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our management team. This remote role requires regular travel to salon locations to lead, develop and support Salon Managers to drive sales, profitability and excellent customer service across your area. Key responsibilities - Drive sales and profitability across your area; identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins. - Monitor monthly P&L, profile and expenditure reports; act quickly on variances. - Submit accurate payroll and administrative information to Head Office on time. - Recruit, onboard and develop Salon Managers and salon teams; carry out right-to-work checks for new hires. - Create and manage monthly rotas, cover absence, and ensure appropriate staffing levels daily. - Lead performance management: appraisals, investigations, disciplinary and capability processes when needed. - Maintain high standards of customer service and handle escalated customer complaints. - Oversee stock levels and ordering processes; review supplier performance and stock generation. - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and other legislative requirements; keep records up to date. - Foster a positive team culture, run effective meetings and support Salon supervisors when they are absent. Person specification - Proven experience in multi-site retail or salon management, with P&L responsibility. - Strong people management and coaching skills. - Good commercial awareness and ability to interpret financial reports. - Excellent communication and organisational skills. - Comfortable with regular travel between sites; full driving licence preferred. - Confident with basic payroll and HR processes.
