SO, WHAT’S THE MISSION?

As an Area Sales Manager, your mission is simple: to drive new business and generate demand for our weatherboard product within your designated region (from Milton Keynes across and below). We are looking for someone who thrives on identifying and driving new business, building strong customer relationships from the ground up, hitting sales targets whilst looking after our existing customer also.
Whilst a good part of your time will focus on demand generation via Housebuilders, Architects, Consultants and Main Contactors & the development of new trading customers lets not forget our existing customers as you will also have Account Management responsibilities.

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Growing our customer base for our Weatherboard product
  • Demand Generation via specification
  • Account Management of existing customers
  • Managing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional service.
  • Planning customer calls and journeys to maximize your time in the field.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to introduce and promote new products.
  • Representing the company at key industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Delivering professional presentations to showcase our products and services.
  • Supporting the induction and training of new starters as required.

Full product training is provided, so while you don’t need to be an expert in weatherboard products, we are looking for someone with the motivation, drive, and ideally sales experience to succeed.
Based upon sales opportunity for our Weatherboard product we would look for the ideal candidate to be based around Oxford/West or South Midlands area.

WHAT ARE THE MISSION-CRITICAL SKILLS?

If you are already a sales professional then we are looking for a proven track record in B2B sales particularly across demand generation and the ability to build customer relationships with experience managing customer pricing and quotations from within the construction industry.
Alternatively, are you looking to start a career in sales? We’re open to applicants who are new to sales and eager to learn, we’ll provide you with training and support what we want to see is a demonstration of personal drive, self motivation and passion to succeed.
