Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Area Sales Manager NSW, you will have a primary focus on developing new business, from lead generation through to quoting, tenders and securing business. You will have a small portfolio of existing commercial customer to manage, strengthen relationships and grow. Industry sectors will include the likes of transport, mining, construction, waste, manufacturing to name a few. You will sell Ampol’s range of fuel, lubricants, Ampol Card, and energy solutions tailored to customer needs. The role combines new business opportunity hunting, strategic account management with tactical sales execution. Success means delivering value for both the customer and Ampol through strong commercial outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing a healthy, forward-looking sales pipeline
  • Tender / Proposal management from inception through to submission (in cohesion with internal stakeholders)
  • Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews with insights and corrective action planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Ampol to deliver tailored customer solutions
  • Represent Ampol at key B2B events and build relationships that drive long-term customer value
