Are you an experienced surgical sales professional ready to bring a genuinely new technology into the operating room?

This is an opportunity to help launch an innovative surgical robotic platform in Germany and shape its commercial success from the outset.

You will use your relationships across General Surgery to identify early-adopter hospitals, build surgeon advocacy and develop compelling business cases for clinical, procurement and executive stakeholders. The OpportunityAs Area Sales Manager, you will lead capital sales of the robotic platform across your territory.You will own the entire commercial process, from identifying and qualifying target hospitals to engaging surgeons, navigating procurement, presenting the financial case and negotiating contracts. Following installation, you will partner with the Clinical team to ensure a smooth handover and support successful procedural adoption.

Working closely with the Country Director, you will also help shape the company’s go-to-market strategy and establish its presence in Germany.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDrive capital sales of an innovative surgical robotic system.
  • Build relationships with General Surgeons, hospital executives, procurement teams and other key decision-makers.
  • Develop clinical champions and administrative support within target hospitals.
  • Map high-potential accounts and create focused territory plans.
  • Deliver persuasive product presentations, business cases and commercial proposals.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature and installation.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and maintain momentum through lengthy hospital purchasing processes.
  • Work with the Country Director to establish and grow the German market.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical team to ensure an effective post-installation handover.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales objectives.


  • What You’ll BringAt least five years of experience selling capital medical equipment or complex healthcare technology.
  • A strong understanding of the operating room and surgical sales environment.
  • Established relationships within General Surgery; experience in Gynaecology would be advantageous.
  • A proven record of winning high-value, complex capital sales.
  • Confidence engaging surgeons, procurement leaders and C-suite hospital executives.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to create opportunities and develop a new territory with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
