Responsibilities: Sales Generation Evaluate customer needs and establish equipment specifications and quotations to suit Clear argumentation of the new technology benefits according to customers’ needs Prepare information as required prior to customer visits Arrange and attend customer demonstrations and application tests at TRUMPF UK (TGB) and overseas as required Maintain good relationships with existing customers according to the Customer Care Concept, gaining repeat business wherever possible Qualify open leads provided by Lead Manager Assess the data provided by Lead Manager Contact the business (prospect or customer) Ensure follow-up of leads in a timely manner Data Quality Maintain the CRM system as required, accurately and on time and liaise with the Lead Manager TRUMPF Install base Competitor machines Opportunities in accordance with TRUMPF standards (weighting value, closure date) Activities Maintenance of account information Ensure pricing and specifications are accurate Sustainability Prioritise strategic measures in accordance with the Country Strategy, business plans and forecasting Feedback competitor information Fill out the Customer Classification yearly and review the Customer Classes Follow market developments and trends as a basis for future sales generation Report any competitor activities, price or special offers Provide quality feedback to Lead Manager, to ensure high level of value hits Utilize CRM Dashboard to guide and steer own actions Deliverables Secure order income and discounts at the specified targets Maintain the minimum customer visit rates Prospect and approach new potential customers with the aim of winning new business New opportunities generated according to the Lead Management standards All relevant lead and opportunity activities are documented in the database 100% of leads are followed up Behaviour Target driven with a focused attitude and self-motivation Customer orientated whilst understanding the company needs Good time management Act and behave in line with the guiding principles of the TRUMPF Group Be presentable at all times and act in a manner befitting a front line ambassador of the company Working Hours / Mobility In view of the nature of your duties you do not have a main place of work Driving is essential to visit customers and satisfy customer needs as required International air travel is a requirement Work hours as per contract with flexibility to suit customer needs and fulfill the overall requirements of the position Qualifications: Education / Experience Direct communication skills at all levels, particularly within customer structures and internally at TRUMPF, clear and concise telephone manner Good computer literacy including Microsoft skills such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel Engineering background is highly beneficial Ideally experience with laser systems Valid UK driving license and passport Flexibility and mobility as to travel and driving
