AREA SALES MANAGER - US WESTERN TERRITORY

This is a full-time remote position covering our U.S. Western Territory, with approximately 75% travel. We’re seeking a long-term team member to drive sales growth, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
Compensation includes a base salary (advertised) with commission opportunities that grow in line with annual sales achievements. We also offer a monthly car allowance and a 401(k) plan with company match and medical coverage with premiums paid by the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the packaging industry is highly desirable.
  • Located within the sales area (i.e, Western USA, preferred AZ, TX, CO, CA, near a major airport)
  • Proven sales management experience.
  • Constantly maintains a strong sales pipeline and proactively identifies new opportunities.
  • Networking star, well‑informed about market trends both locally and globally.
  • Value‑driven seller with a business‑owner mindset, strong product expertise, and understanding of profitability and bottom‑line growth.
  • Exceptional communicator able to adapt to any audience — from operators and maintenance managers to production managers and business owners.
  • Skilled at cross‑team collaboration (service, inside sales) and cross‑selling, actively qualifying and sharing leads to support team success.
  • Excellent trip planning skills, capable of bundling customer visits and covering territories efficiently to save time and cost.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and demonstrate product functionality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
