  • Solid professional background with sales and project management experience in wind energy, power plants, infrastructure, or construction, including involvement in large, complex projects with an advanced understanding of commercial and contractual implications
  • Proficient in engaging with stakeholders across different tiers, paired with capable leadership to inspire and coordinate teams toward desired results.
  • Ability to present information professionally and persuasively to ensure clarity and buy-in while effectively analyzing and connecting insights to support informed decision-making
  • Innovative and forward-thinking, so critical situations are mitigated ahead of time
  • Adept political acumen and the ability to navigate complex internal and external environments using strategic foresight
Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND REASON FOR THE EXISTENCE OF THE JOB

The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for operations and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication lead to effective results. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As Area Service Manager, you will be working at site and reporting to the Service Director
  • Guiding the site teams to ensure that they deliver optimized operation of Customer assets, encompassing Quality, HSE, production performance, asset security, operations and maintenance activities and employee development
  • Manage service contract budgets and costs effectively, reaching specific targets and metrics.
  • Establish meaningful connections with clients to meet contractual obligations.
