Are you a results-driver professional who can drive operational excellence, optimize production processes, and foster a culture of safety and innovation? We are seeking an Area Site Manager to support our facilities located in Sarnia and Corunna, ON. If you are passionate about clean energy and have a proven track record in managing complex industrial facilities, we invite you to come grow with us as we continue to build a sustainable tomorrow together!
The Area Site Manager will have broad responsibilities in supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Sarnia and Corunna teams and equipment. This position focused on interacting regularly and effectively with the local AP operation teams, the customers, contractors, AP support Engineers, and find opportunities to improve the efficiency of the plant.
The Corunna hydrogen production facility is a 1st Class Steam Plant. This plant is a natural gas-based steam methane reformer assisting refiners in producing cleaner transportation fuels and other petroleum products from heavier crude feedstocks. The Air Products facility is located on a part of the Shell refinery land and supplies hydrogen by pipeline to the nearby Suncor refinery, Imperial Oil refinery and the AP liquid H2 plant. We operate and maintain AP owned equipment on Shell land, leased by AP.
The Sarnia Liquid hydrogen plant is a 3rd Class plant. The liquid hydrogen product is shipped offsite via trucks across Canada and U.S.A.
