As a Vet you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, whilst ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. Are you looking to take the next step in your veterinary career, with a role that combines stability, flexibility and variety? We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an Area Veterinary Surgeon to join our South East Network, supporting practices including Medivet Chafford Hundred, South Ockendon, Welling, Gravesend, Sheerness, West Kingsdown and Bearsted. This unique role offers the best of both worlds: the security of a permanent position, alongside the variety and professional fulfilment that comes from working across several practices. It is an ideal position for a confident clinician who enjoys variety, autonomy and making a positive impact across multiple practices. Working to a structured rota that is planned in advance, you will provide cover across your local practices, ensuring your working week remains organised and balanced while still offering the reward of varied clinical exposure and continuity of care. The role is full time, four days per week, with 1 in 6 weekends worked at our Dartford Hospital, alongside participation in the on‑call rota and bank holiday working. You will be confident carrying out routine surgeries independently, adaptable across different practice environments, and passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work both as part of a team and in sole charge will be essential to succeeding in this role.
