The position mostly involves backend development. We use Java/Scala mostly. Python is also used in some projects. Develop, improve, and maintain tools used by the engineering team Develop, improve, and maintain features in the Arena PLM SaaS application Work on new innovative initiatives Participant in technical discussions on various topics Proven ability to solve problems in high-pressure situations. Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new tasks or technologies. Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to embrace change. Basic knowledge of Java programming language and build tools, such as Apache Maven Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and its components The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's major, degree currently being pursued and location.
