Armed Patrol Officer / Sales & Administrative Support – Full-Time Location: Orange, CA Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.50 per hour (DOE + sales incentives) Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour in tax-free stipends for cell phone and equipment use. Schedule: Weekend availability is mandatory. Applicants must be able to consistently work both Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates must be able to commit to one of the following schedules (subject to change): Thursday – Sunday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Friday – Monday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday – Tuesday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Applicants who are unable to meet these scheduling requirements will not be considered. Sunset Safety Agency is currently hiring a motivated and versatile Armed Patrol Officer to join our growing team in Orange County, CA. This hybrid role is ideal for individuals who not only excel in field operations but are also comfortable supporting business development and assisting management with administrative tasks. Position Overview: As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and maintaining a strong security presence. In addition, this role includes supporting sales initiatives and assisting management with office and operational tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to balance fieldwork with administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Security & Patrol Duties: Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of assigned client properties Identify and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or security breaches Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Prepare clear and accurate daily activity and incident reports Assist individuals during emergency situations and ensure public safety Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws Sales & Client Support: Assist with lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups Support preparation of proposals, site assessments, and service recommendations Maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients Represent the company professionally during client interactions and site visits Administrative & Management Support: Assist management with miscellaneous office tasks and operational support Help with scheduling coordination, reporting, and internal documentation Support onboarding tasks, training coordination, or equipment tracking as needed Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations Qualifications: Minimum 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in criminal justice, business, or related fields is a plus) Valid California Guard Card and Firearm Permit (required) Prior experience in private security, military, or law enforcement preferred Experience in sales, customer service, or administrative support is a strong plus Valid California driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and adapt between field and office responsibilities Calm and professional demeanor under pressure Proficiency with radios, reporting tools, and basic computer systems Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Commitment to ongoing training and professional development What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage + potential sales incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for advancement into supervisory, operations, or sales roles Ongoing training and professional development Uniforms provided Privacy Notice for California Applicants Sunset Safety Agency collects and uses the personal information you provide solely for employment-related purposes, such as evaluating your qualifications and communicating with you about your application.
