You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Shift Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:30 AM - 04:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:30 PMSat05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS): To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria: 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level) Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application Pre-Employment Requirements: Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying) Valid Driver's License Law Enforcement Officer License 22+ years of age What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activities within the location. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required, supporting incident response and reporting. Remain alert to potential threats and hazards, helping to deter criminal activity and promoting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training requirements. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification. Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
