As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Security in Honolulu, HI, you’ll serve on the front line of aviation security—ensuring public safety, safeguarding airport facilities, and upholding the spirit of aloha through professional service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Shift Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 01:30 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS): To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria: 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level) Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application Pre-Employment Requirements: Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying) Valid Driver's License Law Enforcement Officer License 22+ years of age What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the premises. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance to visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed. Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and client protocols. Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. Follow all Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and post orders specific to the location. Must be at least 22 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
