JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate will:
Work in partnership to support those working in armed policing, through setting standards, sharing knowledge and good practice and supporting professional development. Contribute to improving knowledge and practice within a College professional community. Offer practical support for policing in line with the College strategies and business plan. Assess annual firearms training portfolio submissions and prepare detailed evidence-based reports which inform the relicensing process to ensure force/organisation compliance with the associated standards. To provide training, advice and support to forces and related organisations in respect of the four-year re-licencing process for firearms training to ensure they achieve and maintain full licence status.
