Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document daily activities, observations, and incidents according to site procedures and reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have experience as Military Police, Corrections Officer, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate. Possess an Armed Guard Card (excluding CCW) A valid Nevada driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
