Description Hana Industries is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable part time Security Officer to join our FAA team in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. As a security officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and property. You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the premises, responding to emergency situations, and enforcing rules and regulations. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities Perform identification checks to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed access to the facility Respond to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, and criminal activity Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment Conduct regular checks of security equipment and report any malfunctions Write accurate and detailed reports of incidents and activities Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Requirements Minimum three (3) years' proven experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement, or military Active Secret Clearance (Preferred) Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent Excellent knowledge of security procedures and protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills Possess professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to obtain a Permit to Carry a Firearm in the State of New Jersey Ability to obtain a New Jersey Armed Security Officers Responsibility Act (SORA) certification Pass a Physical and Random Drug Tests Hana and its family of companies are Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employers.
