As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a cultural institution, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and good judgment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns or incidents according to site protocols. Control access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting authorized personnel as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Support the cultural environment by interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and/or guests while upholding site-specific requirements. Remain alert to potential security-related concerns and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as directed. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
