As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires you to be both armed and to drive as part of your duties. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols. Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while maintaining a visible presence. Maintain awareness of your surroundings and report maintenance or security-related concerns. Support Allied Universal leadership and work collaboratively with other team members at the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license. Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
