Job Overview:
We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Armed Security Officers. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
- Conduct security checks and inspections of premises to ensure the safety of personnel and property
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and security
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license with a minimum of 1 year experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to deescalate tense situations
- Proficient in first aid and CPR procedures preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be active in TOPS
- Must have NO pending cases
- Must submit to drug testing and acknowledge the company conducts random drug testing
- A working smartphone, email, and reliable personal transportation
Positions:

• Immediate:

• 1 officer for a full-time positions from 5:00 PM-8:00 AM (Eastex Jensen). The site is an apartment complex.

• 1 officer for a full-time positions from 4:00 PM-4:00 AM (Off I-45; 10 minutes north of .Sam Houston Toll) Site is an apartment complex.

Uniform:

• LDG issues your first uniform shirt and pant
• LDG issues up to 3 sets of patches. Outter Carrier back patches are issued after the 90-day probationary period is complete.
• Outter carriers: highly encouraged but must be approved before use on shift. Safariland and Safelife Defense uniform outer carriers are our standard. All concealed vests are approved. No steel armor authorized.
• Professional duty belts are required: Level 2 or 3 retention holsters are required, with level 3 preferred. Officers are required to carry 2 extra magazines.
• Shoes: Officers must wear duty boots. No tennis shoes are authorized.
• Tasers: not required- must have certification or be willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
• First Aid/AED/Tourniquet: not required.
• OC, Baton, Handcuffing: Required within 30 days of employment if not certified.
