What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted zones. Maintain detailed logs and reports of observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts. Assist with access control and visitor management processes in accordance with location protocols. Collaborate with staff and visitors to address concerns, answer questions, and provide information regarding security-related matters. Support Allied Universal and client policies while promoting a welcoming environment within the healthcare location. Minimum Requirements: A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required. An armed guard card or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
