Pay: $28.22 per hour Job description: Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an important role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism. Responsibilities: - Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other illegal activities - Ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises by enforcing security policies and procedures - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity - Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary Qualifications: - Valid security certificate/license -Firearm permit required - Proven experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniques - Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures - Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is a plus Skills: - Strong attention to detail and observation skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism - Good judgment and decision-making skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply for this position.
