Description Armed Security Officer Location: Downtown Pittsburgh Status: Part-Time MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID ACT 235 CERTIFICATION Valentis Group Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Downtown Pittsburgh. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. Shifts - Wednesday-Sunday, 1700-2300 (5pm-11pm) Salary - $30.00/hr Responsibilities: Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of clients and their property. Monitor and control access to restricted areas. Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed. Complete detailed reports on incidents and activities during each shift. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed. Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors. Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must possess a valid PA ACT 235 certification. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs and walk throughout the community Mandatory Training is required in Pittsburgh, PA. Fully complete and pass Valentis Group Quality Readiness Standard (QRS) training, which includes Orientation, DEI Initiatives, and Case Law Defensive tactics, which includes handcuffs, baton, pepper spray, and optional taser Firearms qualifications at the FBI standard Anti-Terrorism, Active Shooter, Scenario Based Training, Court Room Testimony.
