OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment for our clients and their assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises through surveillance, conflict management, and proactive loss prevention strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention methods.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate as required by state regulations.

  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of facilities and property to ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required and maintain CPR certification.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or concerns.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
  • Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
