As an Armorer 1, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below. This entry-level position focuses on assembling and inspecting firearms to Daniel Defense’s rigorous quality standards. Armorer 1 is also the foundation for advancement into the Range Lead track. Essential Functions: * Play a pivotal role inmaintainingthehigh standardsand operational integrity of our firearms production. * Conduct thorough inspections of upper and lower receivers for any manufacturing or cosmetic defects. * Perform Assembly Quality checks strictly following Daniel Defense standards. * Assemble DD-specific firearmsin accordance withDaniel Defense standards. * Read,comprehend, and complete work orders and instructions. Adhere to all applicableoperatorwork instructions, SOPs, and quality and safety procedures. * Responsible fordemonstratingcommitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles,policiesand procedures. * Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity. * Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair andequitabletreatmentand a positive work environment * Other responsibilities asdeemedappropriateor necessary by management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * High school diploma or GEDrequired; 2–3 years of firearms experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have a level of manual dexterity to perform all job functions. * Ability to perform as part of a team and to cooperate and work proactively with others. * Flexibility and willingness to learn new job requirements. * Great attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills. * Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure. * Demonstrated ability to recognize and workin accordance withour Company Values. * It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts asdeemednecessary by management. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds. * Requires intermittent standing, walking,sittingand bending throughout thework day. * Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. * Must be able to wearappropriate PersonalProtection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
