The opportunity to begin your career with the most innovative and forward-thinking building products company in the industry The opportunity to help transform the design and building of spaces, so that occupants, owners, operators, and communities can thrive, today and into the future What You'll Be Doing: Completing an assigned engineering project during the term of the internship Troubleshooting electrical manufacturing equipment Contributing to several ongoing capital engineering projects diverse areas of the plant Gaining experience and exposure to the Project Management Life Cycle, including: Preparation of project specifications and requirements Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management tools Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiatives You’ll gain valuable experience and exposure to: Large scale manufacturing facility and equipment and safe working practices Capital engineering projects taking place within varied areas of the plant Equipment Reliability to include asset management, process improvement, capital management and execution, contractor integration and management, and development of machine maintenance best practices (PM, PdM, etc.) Required Qualifications: Obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA Must be a maximum of 24 months away from graduation Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint What Makes You Stand Out Outstanding interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and technically savvy Previous internship in manufacturing environment Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated leadership skills Job Segment: Facilities, Electrical Engineering, Machinist, Entry Level Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing
Responsibilities
