POSITION: PROFESSIONAL 4X4 OFF-ROAD DRIVER – MOD CONTRACT

Salary: Up to £31,000 + Overtime & On-Call Allowance
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
7am till 5 pm. Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience with towing trailers and off-road driving (4x4 essential)
• Strong awareness of health & safety and vehicle compliance
• Military driving experience or relevant background is highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence (with trailer entitlement)
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable to dynamic environments

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Site Equip is proud to support a prestigious long-term contract with the Ministry of Defence (MOD). We are seeking experienced, professional drivers – ideally with a military background – to join our elite logistics team delivering vital welfare facilities to remote and tactical locations.
This is a hands-on role that requires precision, responsibility, and a confident understanding of operating in challenging terrain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery, collection and servicing of specialist hire equipment to military grid references
• Towing and operating 4x4 vehicles across rugged and off-road environments
• On-site setup and breakdown of welfare units and sanitation equipment
• Collaboration with the wider operations team, both on-site and in the yard
• Participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota (with additional pay)
• Occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities
