JOB DESCRIPTION

Strategic ACI is looking for a GEOINT Liaison Officer to be a member of our team in support of the Army G2. Qualified candidates will represent Army G2 and TENCAP, and facilitate coordination with Intelligence Community partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Liaison services at the National Reconnaissance Organization (NRO) in Chantilly, VA and US Army G2 at the Pentagon.
  • Convey Army requirements to leadership and engineering staff at National agencies and identify opportunities to influence design changes that benefit and satisfy Army needs.
  • Make recommendations to maintain and improve interoperability and communication between Army TENCAP, G2, AISE Offices, and IC Partner organizations.
  • Coordinate with the government to maximize participation in priority forums and meetings.
  • Work to advance Army strategic goals within Army, National, and Theater systems and architectures within these organizations and provide written reports identifying the status of Army programs with the agencies.
  • Maintain a consolidated Task Tracker to track incoming, existing and completed tasks to Army G2 from external agencies and stakeholders. Communicate assignment of the task to appropriate POC’s.
  • Monitor NRO architecture changes that could impact Army Operations
  • Track development of future and emerging constellations, particularly those with commercial imagery, signals intercept capabilities, and communications/data relay capabilities and how data can be tasked and received.
  • Collaborate with the Army GEOINT Office on behalf of Army TENCAP and G2.
  • Attend GEOCOM Subcommittee and SSEWG meetings to track and monitor architecture changes, issues and updates that impact Army capabilities. Provide summary reports from these events to Army TENCAP, G2, and associated POCs.
  • Closely track and provide inputs to the Intelligence Community Capability Requirements (ICCR) process, such as Statements of Capability (SOC) review to ensure future capability meet Army and Army TENCAP objectives.
  • Maintain physical presence and coordination at Pentagon 1 day/week
  • Review plans, analysis, and designs for GEOINT systems that support future expeditionary space ground station prototyping.
  • Support investigation and testing of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) capabilities for GEOINT process automation and Automated Target Recognition (ATR).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 15+ years of experience providing GEOINT expertise to the IC or DoD.
  • Minimum 2 years recent HQDA-level Staff Officer experience.
  • Familiarity with NRO acquisition programs that impact Army Operations.
  • Familiarity with NRO overhead systems, data, and services.
  • Familiarity with, and technical understanding, to enter Service Requests on behalf of Army TENCAP and other Army stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with emphasis on briefing to obtain decisions and solve technical issues and test plans/reports writing.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, solve problems and perform in a dynamic work environment.

Desired:

  • Experience with Army TENCAP organization and objectives.
  • Active-Duty US Army Experience.
  • Knowledge of current IC GEOINT initiatives and priorities.
