We’re looking for a Senior Surveyor for our Matawinie mining project in Saint-Michel-des-Saints.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

  • Diploma of college studies (DCS) in surveying, geomatics, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years on a large-scale industrial construction project.
  • Member of the Ordre des Arpenteurs-Géomètres du Québec, an asset.
  • Knowledge of surveying instruments and software (total stations, GPS, GNSS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
  • Team spirit, independence and discipline.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out land surveys for the construction, development and operation of the mine site.
  • Work with the contractors’ survey teams to track quantities for payments and monitor the as-built drawings.
  • Set up the site’s geodetic control system.
  • Work closely with the engineering, construction, and mine operation teams.
  • Produce reports, sketches, and other necessary technical documents
