REQUIREMENTS

• Accurate and detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to motivate staff and keep a positive work environment
• Experience managing a team is an asset
• Knowledge of flowers and vase arrangements is an asset: to be knowledgeable of products of the department and how to handle them
• Experience with inventory and product quality control is an asset
  We are looking to hire near the end of September.

Job Type: This job is a Full-time position with the potential to provide someone flexibility to their summer schedules. The hours are as follows:

• Preparation Weeks: Monday to Friday: 8:30-4:30pm (a sooner end time can be arranged), working independently to prepare product and hardgoods for the upcoming holiday season
• Regular Production Weeks: Monday to Friday, 8:00-4:30/4:45pm, working with the production team, creating arrangements (2 weeks before Thanksgiving, November-December)
• Peak Production Weeks: Monday to Saturday, 7:45am-Finish, likely between 5:00-5:30 pm (1-2 weeks before Valentines, Easter, and Mother’s Day)
• Depending on the Candidate’s preference, the hours could include June, July, and August off work as well as two weeks after Christmas and March break. This can be a full time, year round position or one that matches the school year.

• Oversee arrangement staff and floor production (10-20 people on the team, depending on the season)
• Monitor quality and production quantities
• Communicate with the Arrangements Manager regarding daily and weekly production plans
• Help manage inventory; communicate with the Arrangements manager so they know what is in stock and what is needed to complete current and upcoming orders
• Set aside bad product to show the Arrangements Manager for credits
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with co-workers
• Ensure production efficiencies and that quantity goals are met each day
