Description
The Arrhythmia Manager will lead the clinical and operational oversight of implanted and external cardiac ambulatory monitoring devices across multiple locations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic coordination, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and efficient device workflows. The manager will supervise cardiac device specialists, collaborate with providers, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Technical Support * Perform interrogations and troubleshoot CIEDs (pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs, CRTs). * Analyze and interpret device data from major platforms in conjunction with the Centralized Device Team, including Medtronic CareLink, Abbott Merlin, Boston Scientific Latitude, Biotronik Home Monitoring, Preventice, and RhythMedix MCOT Solutions. * Ensure critical alerts are communicated to physicians and care teams in a timely and accurate manner. * Lead quality control efforts for CIED and MCOT/Holter EOS reports to uphold clinical accuracy and integrity. Operational Oversight * Manage device cardiac ambulatory monitor inventory, CIED programmers, and logistics across offices. * Oversee the Device Center: cleaning, restocking, and repairing devices. * Ensure timely turnaround of MCOT/Holter devices and coordination between locations. * Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation of device transmissions. Education & Leadership * Train and mentor device coordinators and clinical staff. * Develop and deliver continuing educational programs for healthcare professionals. * Collaborate with practice managers to optimize workflows and patient care. Qualifications * Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, biomedical engineering, or related field. * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in CIED management. * 2–3 years of experience in cardiac rhythm management or electrophysiology. Hands-on experience with: * Patient education * Data interpretation and alert triage * Understanding of billing codes for device services * Certifications Preferred: * IBHRE CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist) or ATI graduate * CRIT (Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Test) * CDRMS, CRAT, or RCES also valued * Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, arrhythmia interpretation, and device platforms. * Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. * Experience with remote monitoring workflows and coordination with EMR systems and integrations. Work Environment  This position is performed in office in a medical setting. Monday- Friday, hours vary based on business need.     Physical Requirements  This position requires full range of body motion.
