Location: Canopy Jersey City Arts District Position: Arrival Enthusiast / Door & Valet Captain (Part-Time) Schedule: Thursday–Sunday (flexible) Reports To: Director of Front Office Summary: Oversee front drive and bell services while ensuring a smooth, welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure Supervise front drive operations, valet flow, and bell staff Assist with luggage handling, storage, and deliveries Coordinate with front desk, valet, and other departments Track baggage, guest requests, and deliveries accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of front drive and lobby areas Recognize VIPs and returning guests; anticipate guest needs Ensure safety, security, and proper handling of guest property Assist with group arrivals, special requests, and daily operations Requirements: Strong customer service and communication skills Team-oriented with a proactive, professional attitude Ability to stand for long periods and lift luggage Flexible schedule, including weekends Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred
