Description

Do you get excited about experiments, love helping kids ask “why?”, and enjoy turning everyday materials into learning magic? ✨
Da Dream Lab is looking for Fall Art & Science Instructors to lead fun, hands-on projects for keiki ages 3–12 at our vibrant enrichment center!
All instructors are trained in both art and science—so while you’ll guide science-based lessons like slime-making, fizzy reactions, and engineering builds, you’ll also learn how to lead engaging, creative art projects like drawing, painting, and mixed media. (We’ll make sure you’re confident in both before stepping into the classroom!)

TRAINING BEGINS LATE AUGUST | PROGRAMS RUN SEPTEMBER–DECEMBER

(Includes paid certification and professional development. Opportunities to continue into Spring and Summer 2026!)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading fun and engaging science lessons (chemistry, physics, biology & engineering for kids!)
  • Learning and guiding art projects (drawing, painting, mixed media, and more)
  • Inspiring students to be curious, confident, and creative
  • Managing small groups in a high-energy classroom setting
  • Prepping and resetting project materials
  • Helping with after school programs, birthday parties, or weekend events as needed

Schedule:

  • 10–20 hours/week on average
  • Core hours: After school programs & weekend workshops
  • Opportunities for extra hours available (birthday parties, school breaks, special events)

Pay & Perks:

  • Starting at $15–$20/hr (average $18/hr)
  • Tips available for birthday party shifts
  • Paid training & certifications (First Aid, CPR, curriculum training)
  • Free class/camp enrollment for your children, or yourself.
  • Free use of art studio space during off hours
  • Staff shirts, supply discounts, and quarterly professional development
  • Ongoing opportunities beyond fall semester!

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Passion for art, science, exploration, and working with kids
✅ Confident leading small groups and managing an energetic classroom
✅ Excited to learn both art and science projects—we’ll show you how!
✅ Reliable, upbeat, and collaborative
✅ Has reliable transportation (may help move supplies)
✨ Teaching experience or art/science background is a plus, but not required
✨ We welcome college students, recent grads, and experienced educators alike!
Interview Process:
We do quick, casual one-on-one interviews to make sure the vibe fits. We’re building a team that’s supportive, creative, and all about inspiring the next generation of curious thinkers.
