The Apple Product & Design team is seeking a versatile 3D Designer to join our App Store Editorial Content Design team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting 3D-led innovative, inspiring, and visually stunning design solutions. You will work closely with designers, App Store editors and art directors to bring concepts to life and deliver impactful editorial content. You’ll bring your functional expertise to a collaborative team that is committed to creative that will energize and excite fans in new ways. DESCRIPTION From design development to final production, the 3D Content Designer will work with members of the Content Design team to deliver compelling, elegant creative, lead and inform 3D best practices. You are someone who is highly creative, a problem-solver, can multi-task and works well with production deadlines. The 3D Content Designer will help to shape the future of App Store Editorial content through a combination of technical expertise and creative vision. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of work experience with a focus on 3D design for media, entertainment, gaming and/or marketing. Mastery of Cinema 4D, including animation, modeling, lighting, and texturing Proficiency with latest render engines (Redshift, Octane, etc.) Experience in creating highly polished, composited style frames Ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions Capable of independently developing design directions Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members Enthusiasm for Apps, Gaming, technology and visual culture PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of other 3D software, such as Maya and Unreal Engine Comfortable in the technical aspects of rendering, plug-ins, and node-based 3D work. Strong 2D design skills, including composition, typography, and brand systems Experience with 3D animation
