THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Xfinity Creative team is seeking a talented Art Director to lead concept development, visual storytelling, and creative execution across a range of marketing and brand initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the look and feel of campaigns that reach millions of customers, spanning digital, print, broadcast, and experiential channels. As Art Director, you’ll collaborate with copywriters, designers, producers, and stakeholders to create bold, compelling creative that aligns with Xfinity’s brand vision and resonates with audiences. You’ll balance strategic direction with hands-on design oversight—ensuring every project reflects excellence, clarity, and innovation. This is 6 month contract position to start.

SKILLS & TOOLS

(Must Have):

  • 5+ years of professional experience in art direction or senior design roles (agency or in-house).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating cross-channel campaign work (digital, print, broadcast, social).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for digital prototyping.
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

*CANDIDATES WITH TELECOM EXPERIENCE (ATT, VERIZON, COMCAST, ETC) WILL BE HIGHLY CONSIDERED AS A PRIORITY

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Lead the creative development of campaign concepts, storyboards, and visual assets.
  • Partner with copywriters and designers to produce cohesive, audience-focused creative.
  • Translate brand guidelines into fresh, engaging executions across multiple channels.
  • Present concepts to internal stakeholders and clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to designers and junior creatives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, producers, and cross-functional partners to ensure deliverables meet business objectives, timelines, and brand standards.
  • Stay current on industry design trends, tools, and emerging creative technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and oversee high-quality creative for digital (web, email, social), print, and video.
  • Guide design teams in creating layouts, comps, and prototypes for campaign testing and presentation.
  • Review creative deliverables at key checkpoints to ensure quality and alignment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Partner with production teams to ensure creative is optimized for different formats and channels.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, brand workshops, and creative strategy development.
  • Act as a brand steward, advocating for design integrity and consistency.
