Summary: We are looking for an Art Director who can translate a visionary founder’s aesthetic into a clear, operational creative system. You will shape our brand world, design our most important campaigns and retail moments, and ensure cohesive, elevated execution across the business. This role is highly hands-on, fast-paced, and central to defining our creative identity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Founder Vision Translation & Creative System Work closely with the founder to understand, interpret, and articulate aesthetic direction. Codify the founder’s vision into a formal art direction system (visual, storytelling, sensory cues) used across the organization. Build a consistent creative framework that elevates brand expression across all touchpoints. Creative Direction for 360 Brand Moments Translate founder’s vision into creatives for campaigns, visual merchandising, events, and collaborations. Develop moodboards, storyboards, shot lists, and narrative concepts that bring the vision to life. Oversee photography, video, motion, and set direction, ensuring premium and coherent execution. Craft & Pipeline Leadership Own end-to-end creative development for key brand moments, from concept to final delivery. Collaborate with internal teams (Creative Director, VM, Founder’s team) to operationalize creative systems and streamline execution. Manage external creative partners and agencies, ensuring output aligns with founder direction and brand standards. Creative Quality & Consistency Ensure all brand expressions are elevated, consistent, and reflective of the founder’s vision. Maintain high standards across visual assets, campaign quality, and retail impact. Success factors Alignment with founder vision. Efficient creative pipeline. Elevated campaign and retail impact. Strong brand consistency and differentiation. 8–10+ years in creative, branding, or advertising roles, ideally with beauty, fashion, or luxury exposure. Strong craft across campaign art direction, photography/video direction, storyboarding, motion, and 3D/retail. Experienced in managing creative pipelines and agencies. High EQ, adaptable, low ego, and thrives in founder-led, high-ownership environments. Editorial, modern aesthetic sensibility with strong social culture awareness.
