About the role We are seeking a talented Art Director with a strong foundation in graphic design and demonstrated leadership potential to join our new creative services hub in Kuala Lumpur. Initially operating as an individual contributor, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients across global regions and play a pivotal role in building and mentoring a creative team in Malaysia. This position offers the opportunity to influence creative direction and drive excellence for leading technology brands. What you'll do Develop visually compelling designs for B2B marketing campaigns, digital assets, presentations, and branding initiatives tailored to technology audiences. Collaborate with key Agency stakeholders and clients in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions to understand objectives and deliver creative solutions that align with brand standards. Ensure consistency, quality, and innovation across all creative deliverables. Contribute to creative ideation and concept development for multi-channel marketing programs. Support client success and project management, delivering work on time and within scope. Demonstrate leadership by sharing expertise, giving design direction, and providing constructive feedback. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new creative team members as the Kuala Lumpur hub grows. Stay current with technology industry trends, design best practices, and emerging tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in B2B or technology-focused environments. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and other relevant design tools. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital, print, and branding design for business audiences. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in multicultural or international teams. Leadership experience or clear potential to lead and develop others. Fluency in English; additional Asian or European languages a plus. Preferred Attributes Experience in agency environments serving global clients. Understanding of B2B marketing strategies and technology industry dynamics. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting and adapt to new challenges. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Project management platform experience preferred. Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
