As a small but dedicated team, we thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and are seeking a dynamic leader to help shape our future.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Gallery Sales Director to lead our sales strategy, manage client relationships, and oversee our small sales/admin team. This is a leadership role, directly reporting to the Directors, that requires a balance of proven commercial expertise, management skills, and the ability to develop long-term business growth strategies.

  • Implement client development programs and outreach initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Directors on exhibition and annual programming strategy
  • Provide leadership in setting structures and processes to grow the gallery sustainably
  • Represent the gallery at fairs, openings, and industry events (nationally and internationally)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a London-based gallery environment with a strong sales track record
  • Proven record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in the art or design market
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing staff or teams successfully
  • Strong existing client network and ability to cultivate new high-level relationships
  • Experience in developing and implementing gallery programs and sales strategies
  • Confident communicator and strong negotiator with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
