OVERVIEW

Seeking a dedicated Art Instructor to develop and lead engaging art programs, ensuring participants receive high-quality instruction and support. An ideal candidate will have experience in art education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering creativity in a safe and welcoming environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma and current technical or practical training in a relevant discipline.
  • One year of related experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on program needs.
  • Proven experience in providing instruction within a program setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, along with strong customer service and behavior management abilities.
  • Provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check at your own expense as a condition of employment.
  • Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.

Responsibilities
  • Program Preparation: Create and conduct engaging programs for participants, ensuring they meet required standards.
  • Activity Instruction: Demonstrate and teach activities using established methods, providing helpful feedback to participants.
  • Safety Assurance: Explain and enforce safety rules for sports, recreation activities, and equipment use.
  • Supply Management: Gather and organize necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including class attendance and incident reports, and distribute relevant forms and program information.
  • Equipment Care: Ensure equipment is used safely, kept in good condition, and stored properly.
  • Customer Service: Address participants’ immediate concerns and needs, providing excellent customer service.
  • Facility Liaison: Act as a bridge between the facility and participants.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
