Key Responsibilities


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging visual arts classes, workshops, and courses for a wide range of audiences and age groups.
  • Adapt teaching methods and lesson plans to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of diverse participants.
  • Teach a variety of artistic techniques, materials, and processes across different visual art disciplines.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, demonstrations, and learning resources.
  • Facilitate creative learning experiences that encourage experimentation, critical thinking, collaboration, and artistic expression.
  • Support the delivery of community engagement initiatives, outreach programmes, school partnerships, and public events.
  • Maintain studios, classrooms, tools, equipment, and art materials in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
  • Monitor and manage the use of art supplies and notify the appropriate team of material requirements.
  • Assess participant progress through observation and constructive feedback while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, artists, facilitators, and external practitioners to deliver interdisciplinary projects and special programmes.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, programme documentation, and evaluation reports.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Represent the Art Centers professionally and contribute to a welcoming and positive visitor experience.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in fine arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification is an advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching visual arts in schools, community settings, museums, galleries, or cultural institutions, or practicing artist with a portfolio.
  • Experience working with children, youth, adults, and diverse community audiences.
  • Experience designing and facilitating creative workshops and educational programmes.
