We are looking for an Art Outsourcing Intern to join us for our Obsidian University Internship Program. Come help us make our next world-class roleplaying game! Work closely with the Art Outsource team, Art Leads, and Art Director as part of our game development to create fantastical yet believable worlds. Bring a passion for creating high-quality props and environment assets, and a strong desire to learn about the technical and production processes that support large-scale art creation. Responsibilities Assist in the integration of props and environment assets to populate the game Meshe fixes, UV unwrapping, and texture assessment of 3D assets for Unreal Engine Own and implement the validation process of outsourced art, including occasional optimization of assets Maintain a test level for reviewing and comparing incoming assets Requirements Continual desire to learn and improve Proficiency in Maya and Substance Painter Proficient use of Unreal Engine Strong communication skills Pluses Understanding of lighting principles and PBR workflows Understanding of optimization principles Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes Portfolio Requirements A web portfolio that demonstrates a range of 3D props and environment assets Obsidian Entertainment is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
