The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the arts among our diverse student body. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to different learning styles. Encourage student participation and nurture their artistic talents through various mediums and techniques. Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and collaboration. Organize and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, and school events to showcase student work. Work collaboratively with other faculty members to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate. Manage classroom resources efficiently and maintain a safe and organized learning space. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and trends in art education. Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field. Proven experience teaching art in a school setting, preferably with diverse age groups. Excellent knowledge of various artistic techniques, media, and art history. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Organizational skills to effectively manage classroom materials and student records. Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding policies.
