Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement. Prepare students for internal and external examinations and coursework portfolios, where applicable, such as IGCSE, A-Level, GCSE Art & Design, or other relevant qualifications. Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and progress, including portfolio and sketchbook documentation. Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts Department and across the school to plan schemes of work, share best practices, and support cross-curricular initiatives (e.g., STEAM projects, school productions, exhibitions). Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Art Clubs, competitions, mural projects, or enrichment events. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support. Uphold school policies on behaviour management, safeguarding, and child protection at all times. Curate and display student artwork around the school and at exhibitions or community events.
