POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher / Supervisor to join a primary school in Blackpool. This role involves leading and supporting children throughout the school day, fostering their artistic skills, imagination, and self-expression through a variety of visual arts activities.
The role is Wednesdays, 8:30am – 3:15pm, providing an exciting opportunity to inspire children with hands-on art experiences while supporting their overall development.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Experience teaching or leading art sessions for children in a school or childcare setting.
  • Strong creative skills and the ability to inspire children through art.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with children, staff, and parents.
  • A background in art education is highly desirable.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £125.00 per day
    Expected hours: 6.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons and activities.
  • Supervise and support children during creative projects, ensuring a safe and positive environment.

  • Maintain clear communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents about children’s progress.
  • Keep art materials, equipment, and workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
